Barrie is probably asking for more than 6 a year for a multiyear contract. He asked for a one year deal for 6 in arbitration. That would make next years negotiations start at 6 million and guarantee a bigger contract. 6 AAV would only be a good deal if the contract was over 3 years and started buying UFA years.

Ristolainen is said to be looking for a $6M AAV. I'd pay him $6.5M AAV were I Murray.
